
1) Agric processing – Tilerad owns plantations in south western
Nigeria consisting of Palm Oil, Plantain and hardwood. This is
processed into Crude Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil for supply
to various industries. The processing for Teak wood from its
plantation for exports recently started and is targeting the
furniture industry both local and foreign
2) Trading – Tilerad has its roots in trading as it has established
trade links with suppliers from Asia, particularly china and
India. It facilitates the imports of various commodities for
onward distribution through its network of distributors and
retail outlets. It also provides last mile logistics services to major FMCG names to breach supply of their products to the key
dealers. This area of business is set to grow as more and more
companies outsource these services
3) Renewable Energy – Tilerad is also involved in the sales and
installation of alternative energy sources through solar charged
deep cycle batteries for domestic and industrial services. This is
done in partnership with BOPS Systems.
4) Export Facilitation – This is a new area of Business for Tilerad
given the renewed focus of the government on developing the
non-oil sector. The areas of interest are in solid mineral,
particularly gemstone exports and exploratory activities has
started in both Osun and Ekiti States. Tilerad is committed to
marking a concerted effort in this area as it already has its
NEPC License for this.
5) Mining – This is a new development area and will commence
with Bitumen exploration. This is part of the company’s efforts
to key into the import substitution drive of the current
government by developing local resources in order to
discontinue imports and conserve foreign exchange.
